The subtitle PNGs look OK, maybe it has something to do with the blending. Can you really apply an alpha channel to YUV by multiplying YUV by alpha? Maybe not... |

Not 100% sure I'm seeing the same as the OP but green artefacts at the edges seem to be caused by trying to alpha-blend either odd-width subtitles or subtitles into odd x positions. |

Fix on branch but needs a test (there's half a test on the branch, but not especially practical). |
