Hello. Thank you very much for DCP-o-matic.
Does it use ffmpeg for the export function? If so, which command options does it use? I've compared DCP-o-Matic export function from a DCP to MP4 and from a standard direct ffmpeg command without filters using a .mxf as source but the visual result is different. DCP-o-Matic produces better blacks and contrast. As DCP-o-Matic uses ffmpeg internally I suppose it uses ffmpeg for exporting. I've tried with a custom zscale and scale filters but didn't get usable output.

These may help: -vf "scale=flags=bicubic:out_color_matrix=bt709:out_range=tv,format=yuv420p,setsar=1"
