I'm QCing some DCPs that were uploaded to me via Media Shuttle and some of them have errors that are causing the DCP o matic Player to crash.
The error on the Player I’m getting says: An exception occurred: could not read video frame 5250 (-101).
And then the Player crashes and I have to restart the software.
And then when I run the DCP through the Verifier, I get a similar error. It says: The hash of the picture asset does not agree with the PKL file. This probably means that the asset file is corrupt. A picture frame has an invalid JPEG2000 codestream (missing marker start byte).
Any idea what could be causing this?

Re: codestream error causing player to crash
This probably means that some file corruption has happened somewhere between the DCP creator's computer and yours. Working out where can be tricky. If it's possible, the best first step would probably be to ask whoever sent the files to run the DCP-o-matic verifier their end and see what it says.
