where to set default video bit rate
DCP-o-matic 2.18.18 seems to lack a possibility for setting the default video bit rate. Or do I overlook that? Is the only way to adjust video bit rate when setting the DCP settings for every project again?

Re: where to set default video bit rate
Hi,
The idea with 2.18.x is that you make a template - so make a new project, set your desired bit rate, then do "Save as template", choose "Save as default", and from then you should see the bit rate in each new project.

That makes sense. We'll adopt that way of working. Thanks for the reply!

Good idea, but on 2.18.46 the bitrate is greyed out on a new project, as is the metadata and almost all other settings except the audio sample rate, so there is no way to set them before saving a template - which is also greyed out.
Is this so for all versions of 2.18?

If you create a new project (it doesn't matter what it's called or where you save it) then set the settings you like on that project, then save the template, it should work. Let me know if not!
