Missing Timed Text Tab?

I am attempting to make a DCP with subtitles. And according to the manual, I need to use the timed text tab. But that tab is just not there.



It is supposed to be between audio and timing, but it is not there. So I don't know what to do.

Does your mp4 file contain subtitles? Perhaps you could attach the ffprobe.log file from the project folder, or email it to carl@dcpomatic.com

I have an MP4 file and an SRT file that I want to make open captions on the DCP file.

OK, in that case you need to use "Add file(s)..." to add your .srt file to the project. When you select that file in the content list you should see the timed text tab.

The available tabs depend on the selected content. There's no timed text tab for your MP4 file because it contains no timed text.
