I just created a DCP in DOM 2 for my feature film and had it tested at my local cinemas. The entire film had a pretty egregious blue/purple shift, in addition to some sort of gamma lift. The projectionist at the theater unfortunately was not very helpful, gave me very little info as to whose end the problem might be occurring. I am in desperate need of a solution/explanation and would appreciate the help.
Here's some tech specs: The DCP was created from a Quicktime Movie file (Linear PCM, Apple ProRes 422 Proxy) in rec. 709., type 2D, 4K SCOPE at 24FPS. Furthermore, when I play the DCP file in DOM 2's DCP player, it looks perfect, ie exactly as intended. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm. Can you upload your projects metadata.xml for us to have a look?
Now, it is entirely possible that theatre staff did something wrong, or that their system is not operating properly. To find out about that, the easiest way would be to test screen a black and white test clip in direct sequence with your own DCP.
There are a few black and white trailers out there. Maybe one of these could be helpful to track the issue down.
Also, you could try to reopen your project, trim the content to a few seconds of a segment (under 'Timing'), perform a new DCP conversion (give a new modified name before you start), and then upload the resulting video.mxf so we may have a look.

Re: Blue/Purple Shift
I can't be certain, but -if DCP-o-matic Player is showing the colors of that specific DCP correctly- my first guess would be a wrong preset on the projector, or -if the connection between server and projector was 2xHD-SDI- one of the HD-SDI cables being problematic. (E.g. the second HD-SDI cable not connecting correctly).
Wrong preset on the projector would be easy to identify and correct, and could be -for instance- an "HDMI/external source" or even a "3D" preset on a projector connected to Dolby DSS server. A seasoned projectionist would have been able to distinguish that issue, though.
A problematic HD-SDI cable would be apparent on their every day screenings material.
What I would have done on the spot, would be to play another Scope, 2D DCP, that they play regularly, without changing anything on the projector and -especially- without playing it out of a (readymade) playlist. Or use the same playlist for both DCPs and skip from one to another, without any projector-preset command/cue.
That's one idea...
P.S. I see Carsten beat me to it.

Re: Blue/Purple Shift
Thank you all for your help so far. Since we last spoke, I created a handful of new, shorter DCPs as tests and tried them out at the same local theater. Unfortunately the purple/blue hue shift persisted. As requested, I've uploaded the metadata.xml as an attachment. Thank you so much.

Re: Blue/Purple Shift
What type of monitor is connected to the computer you are creating the DCPs on? Could it be that this monitor/computer setup uses the wrong calibration/color model/settings?
I should be able to find and upload a suitable commercially masted test trailer or something, but you could also try to convert one of these test charts here:
https://link.dcpmanufaktur.de/DCP-Manuf ... est-Charts
You should add them to a new DCP project, the default interpretation is/should be: Colour: sRGB and Range: Full
