Hello!

Does the lumens' metadata in DCP-O-Matic affect the theatre's projector luminance?

The lumen metadata is only meant to be included in the name and metadata to inform a projectionist about different gradings for 3D, as there have been different 3D systems with varying (usually very low) brightness specs. In theory, one could adopt this indicator for 2D as well, but except for IMAX and Dolby Cinema, the spec for standard 2D DCP is still 14fL or 48cd/sqm.
