FEATURE REQUEST - no desktop icons installer fix

I've been meaning to request this for years, for those of us that like a clean desktop, I would really appreciate the option to not have desktop icons especially since it creates so many redesigned as almost every time I miss it because it's always cut off from view.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. There is a tick box in your screenshot, and if you un-tick it, you should get no desktop icons. Is that not what you want?

Maybe he want's them being ticked off by default

I want them unticked by default and the text to be visible not cutoff as is the screenshot. Because the actual option is not readable it's easy to miss what the tick means.

I see - thanks for clearing it up. Do you load DCP-o-matic from the start menu, then? Sometimes it seems to me that after installing on Windows 10 it's hard to find the "main" DCP-o-matic program that way...

I use a taskbar shortcut for the player and start/space/autofill finds it in second. I keep a clean desktop and it's very inefficient if you have hundreds of apps to use desktop icon shortcuts. I don't understand people with cluttered desktops or who don't zero inbox.
