MBR is the right choice for DCP transport/ingest discs.
I would usually assume that an NVMe SSD is an internal disc, so should not be used for DCP transport/ingest. In that case, GPT is the better choice for a disc that remains on a computer as DCP storage.
Unless you put it into an external USB-NVMe enclosure and use it to transport DCPs to a DCI server. Then MBR is the right choice.

And if it's EXTERNAL 3TB Single partition, should it be MBR or GPT?Carsten wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 4:08 pm MBR is the right choice for DCP transport/ingest discs.

You should never use disks larger than 2TB for server ingest. It's no problem to have large discs as a computer attached DCP storage - but for transport to the DCP/DCI server, it must be max 2TB disk (not partition, but total disk), MBR, ext2/3 or NTFS.
