In DCP O Matic I have the mono audio description wav file going to tracks 7 + 8, H1 + V1. Is there a way to QC the descriptive audio tracks once the DCP has been made? I can see the tracks have level on my scopes. Nice.
However when I look at the file in dcp o matic player and route ch 7 + 8 to say the center I don't hear it. It seems that only audio channels are getting muted.
When I bring the file into Resolve the audio file is read as an 8 channel 7.1 file. Short of bringing this to a theater to QC. How can I be sure audio will be properly routed at the theater?
Thanks!

Re: QC Descriptive Audio Tracks?
That's a bit odd - I just tried making a HI/VI DCP then in the player routing the HI/VI tracks to my outputs (I only have stereo) and it works OK.
You could load the MXF file into Audacity and see how channels 7 and 8 look...

Hi Carl - Thanks for the reply. I tried playing back on another Mac that is only 2 channel and I am able to hear the tracks.
Thanks!
