Hello... I am new to DCPOM, and experimenting.
I would like make a DCP of a television production shot 25fps, interlaced.
Obviously, DCP is progressive. I really don't want to throw away the "video motion" by deinterlacing to 25p.
Is there a way in DCPOM of deinterlacing the two fields in each frame as single frames and outputting in effect HFR 50p?
Many thanks.
MA.

Hello
I think you would have to make a 50p file with another tool first, like QTGMC (best quality) or ffmpeg with yadif=1.
Keep in mind that on non-HFR projectors, only one out of two frames will be showed.
Best,
Dan
