Hey guys, how you all doing?
I need some help creating a DCP with sign language.
Actually I already have a dcp with this on track 15, as required, but it is INTEROP and the facility I'm sending it only accept SMTPE. (This interop dcp was made by another company).
So I opened the files from this interop dcp at dcpomatic and it recognized the sign language at track 15 and then I made the SMTPE DCP. It looks good when I open at a dcp player, but I can't check the sign language. It looks fine at the sound mapping (screenshot attached).
Should I do something else or is this ok?
Thanks!
Cheers

Re: DCP with sign language
Is that the mapping in the "sound" tab of preferences? If so, that only decides how channels are mapped to your sound card outputs - nothing to do with the DCPs being made.
It would probably be more useful to check the mapping in your project to make sure the channels from the Interop DCP are mapped into the output correctly. I am working on proper support for sign language tracks but it's not there yet.

Re: DCP with sign language
Hey Carl, thank you for your quick response.
Yeah, that's the sound tab of preferences. I guessed it would show only what the dcp had in their audio tracks.
In the project the mapping looks correct too.I also opened the audiotrack in Resove and it looks just like the one from the interop dcp.
So I guess its ok?
Thanks
