Just download 2.3.0, pretty excited about new features! Now it's time to have some tests, but there's no notice in the manual about new audio features. Can someone (hi Carl

Thanks
In Content > Audio you are mapping your content's sound channels to the inputs of the upmixer. UpmixL and UpmixR are the upmixer inputs. The outputs of the upmixer (6 channels) are what get written to the DCP- Why in Content > Audio there are not more than 2 channels (UpmixL /UpmixR) ?
While DCP > Audio > Channels is in 6.
Can you rephrase this question? I'm afraid I don't understand it.How are set channels ? (Gain...)
The easiest way to do this would be to use the content audio map, as described in Example 2 hereAbout me, I look mainly to the 3.0 to put the Audio to Center from a Stereo file.
And I do not see the option 3.0 (3 channels) and 1.0 (1 channel - Mono).
You can search Google using something like:It's a shame not to be able to search the Manual "html" version. (Eg Processor).
Code: Select all
processor site:dcpomatic.com/manual/html
I'm afraid I don't quite follow this... can you expand? In my logic it would be more convenient to select (DCP > Audio) 3.0 (3 channels) and 1.0 (1 channel - Mono) and see it in Content > Audio.
(This also makes memo for the title of DCP - and when you resume the project).
With a "Mono" file for example, you must select "4 channels" (DCP > Audio) to get the "Centre" (Content > Audio).
No, it will add silence where needed. So, DCP-o-matic does not need an audio file (silence) to an unassigned channel ?
ExcellentNo, it will add silence where needed.
