I shot a movie on a 4.6k camera. The final movie file was about 650 GB. I did the DCP on DCPomatic and it came out at 107 GB. When I use DCP transfer to make a drive for the cinema it only uses the DCP file and not the video abs that is coming out as 83. Should I be concerned?
I’m using an old Mac btw.
DCP is only 84 GB, did I do something wrong?

Maybe you created the DCP with the DCP-o-matic installation defaults - which is 2k and 100MBit/s. It will probably still look good (I have seen some real-life footage DCPs even smaller than that).
What is your source resolution and format? I suggest you redo the DCP in 4k (if your master source file is 4k) and with 150 to 230 (max!) MBit/s and compare the two.
Creating the DCP will take a lot longer in 4k though!
