We have a lot of MP3 music in our cinema. Unfortunately with DCP-o-matic (version 2.12.20) those are mostly not usable. After converting to WAV it works well.
Example: when I load "Help" from the Beatles in a newly created DCP-o-matic project, the length of this song is displayed as 29 hours instead of 2 minutes. When I try to generate a DCP it will last “forever”.
When I look at the metadata.xml, for the MP3 content I see a lot of picture tags <Video_*>, <ColourConversion>, etc. which are not present in WAV case.
Can anybody help?

Hi, I haven't seen that happening. Perhaps you could send one of your mp3s to carl@dcpomatic.com and I can check it out.
The tags in the metadata are just because DCP-o-matic treats MP3s using similar code to video files (just with no video).
