hello ... in some earlier version when you make dcp there was folder with j2k files (converted in xyz) and now I am missing that as something that I was using for QC.
Is there an option to keep J2K files after wrapping them in MXF container?
I would like to keep them, to have them ... I miss them
all the best ... G

Re: keeping J2K files
DCP-o-matic never creates or created intermediate J2K files (as many other tools do). However, sometimes the encoding timing makes it necessary to write SOME J2K images to disc for later integration into an MXF. So you may have seen some J2K files in the project folder, but not all files that make up a DCP. While Carl could probably implement intermediate J2K file storage, it is not actually necessary, as they are contained 1:1 in the resulting MXF, and can be restored from there by unwrapping.
I think there is a Mantis feature suggestion for keeping J2K files during encoding. Sometimes I needed to have access to some J2K files for testing, but in general, I can achieve my task by unwrapping the MXF just as well.
