We are facing a problem regarding a film with more than 48 fps. If we try to play a dcp with more than 48 fps, similar to this one happen https://streamable.com/xpboi
According to https://www.imago.org/index.php/technic ... inema.html, our (brand) DOREMI (model) Showvault with IMB in projector is capable of playing 2K 3D film.
Can someone help with this one? Thank you in advance guys.

Re: More than 48 fps playback
Was that a Barco projector?
I know from personal experience that a Doremi IMB/ShowVaul can play 60fps 2D without problems. But the projector needs to follow as well. What are your issues? Are you trying to play back a 3D DCP with more than 48fps? You need a special IMB Firmware for that.

Re: More than 48 fps playback
Hi Carsten,
Yesterday, we tried to play a 60 fps dcp on our projector and it also has the black/white thingy on the screen.
Yes. It is a Barco DP4k-32B. Yes, we are trying to play a 3D left/right (60 fps) film.
Can you please tell me what firmware to use?
Thank you!!!

Re: More than 48 fps playback
You need to talk to your integrator. There are some instructions by Doremi how to do it. It's a bit of a hack - aside from the Hobbit trilogy, no commercial content in other than 3D/24fps made it to any cinema, so, few people are using the high frame rate firmware. It't not very elegant.
