3D DCP what FPS?

Good afternoon everyone,

I just want to ask what are the supported FPS when creating a Left & Right DCP?

Source file: 30 fps TGA format
Projector : DP4k-32B
Server : DOREMI

I tried to create one but the I'm having some problem similar to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1196

24fps*2 = 48fps. But in DCP-o-matic, you set '24fps' as the base frame rate also for 3D. This will be created as an 48fps file.

The Barco and Doremi will probably also play a 30fps (=60fps) 3D-DCP.

You should probably get the very latest version for 3D testing, and there are some 3D bugs in earlier versions.

I’m using the latest version and I set my FPS to 30 and the error is still the same. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

When I set it to 24 it’s fine. But it will not sync to my 5.1 audio.

Test version doesn’t accept the TGA files.

@Carl, I've emailed you the link to download the file because it is 18.4mb ea.

@Ackerman, TGA works if the FPS is 24. If it is more than 24, you will see some distortion in the screen.

@jaycer: what system are you playing these DCPs showing the distorsion? Are you sure it' not the playback system? Would be weird if there's a DCP-o-matic related issue with 30 vs. 24 fps.
