DCP-o-Matic - Batch Converter
I have downloaded the batch converter for DCP-o-Matic, but I am unsure on how use it and the intended function of the application. Does anyone have any insight on the Batch Converter?

Re: DCP-o-Matic - Batch Converter
Hi fiumefr4,
The batch converter helps you to focus on creating mass of DCPs while the render job (load project and start renedering) is outsourced to the batch converter.
Instead of DoM making the DCP (CTRL+M,) you send it from DoM to the DoM Batch Converter by hitting (CTRL+B). By the way, DoMBC must be opened to accept the job. Now you can focus on the next DCP.
You might also save each single DoM project first, then open DoMBC and load all projects one by one. The converter will start right ahead until your last DCP is done or your storage is full.
It's useful if you have several jobs parallel to do. Likewise preparing a short film festival.
It's not important if you only need one DCP as you might then let DoM do it.
All the best
