Good day everyone,
I am new here and I would like to ask how to fix this one?
here's the lnik: https://streamable.com/xpboi
So I am using:
1. Barco DP4k-32B with DOREMI server
2. Source Files are TGA files
3. I've tried to covert it via IOP and SMPTE but still failed
4. It is in 25 fps
5. I've tried to change the bitrate from 100 to 200
6. It is in 3D Left/Right
7. I am using Rec. 709
Thanks for your help!

Re: Creating 3D Left/Right using TGA files
Can you upload the metadata.xml of this project to this thread? This could be due to either DCP-o-matic inproperly recognizing the image file (wich version of DCP-o-matic are you using, as there has been a recent major change to image file handling), or, a DCP/mxf file that is breaking the playback decoder of the server.
To me, it looks like a SideBySide misinterpretation. What happens if you load this DCP into DCP-o-matic standalone player?
I think, formally, TGA should be sRGB, but that is not the reason for your problem (and the difference to rec709 is small).

Hi Carsten,
Here's the metadata
We are going to use it for educational purposes for the student visitors here.
Thank you

Hi Carsten,
When I play it on the DCP-o-matic preview pane, it runs smoothly without the black and white thingy on my screen

Then maybe the frame rate is too high, which can happen easily in 3D.

Hi Carsten,
So you suggest to reduce the framerate to 24?
With IOP or SMPTE standard?
Bitrate?
should I also change the fps of the sounds because it is in 25 fps?
Thanks!

Re: Creating 3D Left/Right using TGA files
Hmm, at first sight, the metadata looks correct to me. I would probably need to see one (short) mxf file that has been generated in order to look at the 3D layout of the DCP that has been created.
That projection setup should be able to play back 25/50 fps 3D. You could could still try 24fps, but...
Again, which version of DCP-o-matic are you using?
You could try to create the DCP again, and trim it down to a one second (with 3D visual information, so no black frames or 2D titles), then upload the video mxf, should be small, we only need a few frames to analyse.

Re: Creating 3D Left/Right using TGA files
Hi Carsten,
I'm using DCP-o-matic version: 2.12.11 on a MacOS Sierra
Just give me a couple of hours. I will make a dcp (1 sec) and send it to you
Thank you so much for your help

Hi Carsten,
Sadly, I cannot produce the test mxf right now. I can produce it on Thursday

One possible other way is to load just the video mxf from that problematic DCP into a new DCP-o-matic project, then just trim it down to 1s around an interesting part, then create a new 3D DCP. This will only have one second length, but will contain the original frames from the DCP, if you keep other parameters the same (container, resolution, etc - but datarate doesn't matter).
