Error DCP VF whit subtitles khazah on Barco and Dolby

Post by at800 »

Hi!

Create SMPTE DCP in DOM 2.16.34 64 bit - encrypted
There were no problems when showing the main package on all servers

VF was created with Kazakh subtitles. Initially, the settings used were 80% reduction in the size of the subtitles and change from the location on the screen.

The check in the player was successful.

On the Barco servers, the VF package gave an error - I'm attaching a screenshot.
On Dolby servers - the package started but did not display subtitles.
On Doremi and GDC- ok.

When using the default parameters, the package shows normally on Dolby. Barco still has the same error.

Before that, DOM 2.16.8 was used. There were no errors on VF packets with it.

Revamping the VF package in version 2.16.8 still results in an error on Barco servers.

I can give the main package and VF.

Interesting. Are you able to check the software version number running on the Barco? I'll try to reproduce.

Could you upload that subtitle file here?

VF - 3 versions
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

No number at the end - very first version with reduced subtitle size
v2 - default subtitles
v3 - rollback to the previous version

By firmware - I'll try to find out, but they may not answer

Did you intend to encrypt the subtitles in the VF?
