Upgrade from 2.11.34 to 2.16.30

G'day All.

I wish to upgrade from 2.11.34 to 2.16.30.

Can I use the same keys from 2.11.34 and take them to 2.16.30? What all things should I export from the old version to import into the new version install?

I see the option to export the following in the old version 2.11.34
1. Signing DCP And KDMs - Leaf Private Key
2. Decrypting KDMs - Leaf Private Key
3. KDM Decryption Certificate
4. KDM Decryption Chain

But in the new version 2.16.30 I see the option only to import 1 and 2 above and not 3 and 4.

There is a button to import all KDM Decryption settings which requires upload of a .DOM file which I am not sure how to generate.

Kindly guide.

Are you installing on the same machine? If so, I would back up your settings and see what happens if you just install the new version... it's a big update but it might Just Work (TM).

Just create a ZIP file of your existing preferences folder. There are ways to reinsert individual certs into a new config manually if the pref update fails. Just make sure you have backups, multiple in different places.
