I’m having problems with sound sync on a DCP.
The original file is AVC 25FPS. I tried making DCP’s at 24 and 25 FPS using this file, but both were out of sync.
I then used Handbrake to convert the file to 24 FPS, but still had the same result.
Any ideas to fix this?

Re: Sound sync issues
Can you tell us:
- what version of DCP-o-matic you are using?
- where are you checking the sync? In the DCP-o-matic preview?
- what's wrong with the sync? is the sound leading or lagging the picture? does it get worse as time goes on?

Re: Sound sync issues
Thanks Carl
In the end I sorted this out by re rendering the film at 24 FPS with constant frame rate.
I don't have much joy previewing with DCP-o-matic player I'm affriad. The asapec ratio is oftern incorrect and sound sync issues appear, even if the DCP plays ok onn the projector. Perhaps it's not set up correctly? I'm using Steroescopicf Player or Free DCP Player at the moment:

Re: Sound sync issues
I'm glad you got the encode sorted out. With regards to the player problems, what version are you using and on what platform?
