Just wondering if it's possible to output the video from the DCP player to a video card like the Blackmagic Decklink? I can see the option with audio but not sure how to get video to output too.
Thanks

Re: DCP Player Video Out
Carl would need some extra time to implement a driver. There are a few other issues to solve in the player before a dedicated video out would come into focus, I assume.

Thanks for the update. It would be incredibly useful for us to be able to output to a Blackmagic Decklink card if possible. Thanks again

Anything a non-programmer could do to help getting a Blackmagic video-out feature being made?

Re: DCP Player Video Out
You could probably buy one of the cheaper and easier to handle cards and give it to Carl for testing. There is a common driver API, so, afterwards it should work with all Decklink cards.
Just my suggestion, Carl needs to decide wether he is willing to spend the time. He would probably need a Decklink card with HDMI out, or an Intensity (external USB/Thunderbolt solution), depending on the machines he can use for testing.
It would be interesting to see wether the current performance issues on Macs could be overcome by this, as they seem to be caused by the OS X driver/graphics output. Maybe the situation would change with a Decklink driver.
