Re: VF to add Subtitles - Query
Open a new project in DOM.
Import existing DCP for which you wish to create a VF file.
Click on video tab and select [Use DCP video as OV and make VF]
Click on Audio tab and select [Use DCP audio as OV and make VF]
If the tabs grayed out click on a DCP tab and check if either a single reel or a split according to source. The trick is to have same file structure in OV and VF. Once it's the same the boxes would be available for selecting
Use Make DCP command to create VF.

Hi!.
Thanks for respond!
I don't have tabs you've mentioned (after import DCP):
Click on video tab and select [Use DCP video as OV and make VF
Click on Audio tab and select [Use DCP audio as OV and make VF]
Do you know why?

There’s a button [import dcp]. You should use that.
Also the tabs are underneath the assets. Low left part of the screen.
Have you enabled full interface in preferences?

Yes. Thanks. I tturned on full interface and tabs for VF are enabled.
I have the same name for dcp file and settings (I think) but VF tab for subtitles is greyed out...
Maybe some other settings?

Re: VF to add Subtitles - Query
How is OV made? Is it in reels or in a single reel. Single reel means there are one file for video and one file for audio inside the DCP.
If there are more than one file for each then you can safely assume the DCP is made in reels. If that is the case, then choosing split by video contents should resolve the problem.

Can we get a screenshot of the "subtitles still greyed out" problem?

Re: VF to add Subtitles - Query
If I understand correctly, there is no way and no need to click the VF tab under subtitles. If you want to subtitle an existing DCP as a VF, you have to click
Use DCP video as OV and make VF
Use DCP audio as OV and make VF
Then add the subtitle file as 'normal' content. The subtitles is what you add to the VF as new content, so, it doesn't make sense to reference it from an existing OV.
