Hey guys
Any chance you can have an option to playback 48 @ 44.1kHz through Mac OS CoreAudio or ignore the setting of the sample rate?
I'm not able to use a multichannel USB device to monitor Surround Sound... I get this error when I try to select the device which is a GIGAPort HD+ which stupidly is locked to 44.1kHz under the Mac OS.
Could not set up audio output. There will be no audio during the preview.
RtApiCore::probeDeviceOpen: system error
(kAudioDeviceUnsupportedFormatError) setting sample rate for device (5).
Most other apps allow it.
Best
Ben.

Re: 44.1kHz Playback devices
I’ve jerryrigged a solution using Soundflower to patch the output but would be nice not to have to.
