What is the frame rate of your source footage, and what DCP framerate did you (or DCP-o-matic) choose?

Did you import image and sound as one composite file, or in separate video + audio files?

There is no good conversion from 29(.97)fps to 24, so the sound must come out slower.

If you make sure you create an SMPTE DCP, it will probably play at many locations as a 30fps DCP, but you need to test it.

Aren't you happy with Handbrake? It correctly converts iPhone shot films to 24 (audio resampled from 44.1 to 48k).

Well I guess I'm old school. There is no clean conversion from 24p to 30p or 30p to 24p. Of course you can try sophisticated motion flow, etc. and get away with it. I have handbrake installed, but never used it for this specific task. May give it a try. If the target system can be identified as being able to play 30fps, I would always prefer this.
