KDM Generator Crack

Hello genius people out there,
I'm from Nepal (Land of Mt. Everest & Lord Buddha)
I work in a movie distribution company here, Till today we used to make DCPs
using open dcp (without encryption).
From now we are planning to make encrypted DCPs.
Recently i have started using this lovely piece of software (DCP-O-matic) and looks great to make unencrypted DCPs.
But haven't tested with encrypted one.

Few days ago i found some Indian technician here, who were suggesting me to buy some USB dongle (they said something like ilock)
They told that the KDM generated through DCP-O-matic without plugging it in computer will not work in most cinema servers.

Is the KDM creator free? Will the KDM generated using encrypted CPl and .pem certificates works without anything else?

DCP-o-matic and a server certificate/pem file is all you need.

USB key? Yes, maybe a USB memory stick to transfer the KDM to the server
ilok is a usb software license/protection device. It may be needed for some commercial DCP mastering solutions. But not for DCP-o-matic.

Those guys were talking about the ilock for Dcp-O-matic !!!

I contacted them somehow through a friend and got a USB along with the software version 2.10.1 today.
I told them that i will buy it after testing for some days..
You may want to know what's inside the USB ?? Give me your email.

They also told that if i copied the files to another USB and plugged in that copy of USB while
generating KDM the DCPs will not run in theater(ie KDMs won't work)

As far as i came to know DCP-o-matic is free to use, correct me if i'm wrong.
Are they making us fool?
Have you guys found any problems with the encrypted DCPs and KDMs made from DCP-O-matic in Dolby Servers?

Never had any problems with KDMs generated by DCP-o-matic on Dolby DSS 200, Doremi ShowVault+IMB and Christie IMB. Even IMAX accepts KDMs from DCP-o-matic.
These guys are fooling you!
I would also like to know what's on that USB stick!

Yes, it does appear they are making us fool

DCP-o-matic is completely free, with no limitations imposed.

As far as I know, there are no known issues between encrypted DCPs and Dolby servers.

As Carsten says, DCP-o-matic is free and you do not need an iLock.

I would suggest downloading the software from https://dcpomatic.com/ if you can rather than using a version given to you by somebody who says you need an iLock

It's difficult to know what to make of that USB, it just looks like a load of random DCP-o-matic DLLs with some other bits thrown in.

I would just suggest downloading DCP-o-matic from https://dcpomatic.com/ and then using it freely!

Thank You, i'll return their USB today.
I have downloaded the software version 2.10.5
I'll definitely post here if i experienced any issues with DCPs & KDMs.

The level of misinformation (and outright lies) concerning digital cinema is astounding.

I know a theatre owner who was told by a production company that, if they ran homemade DCPs made by anyone other than themselves - it could break their projector!
