IKRAM - can you try to find out what software version this Dolby server runs?
It is hard to believe that the VF plays with subtitles only, while it plays with picture and sound and subs in Cineplayer. However, Dolby servers are known for some very 'elastic' interpretation of DCPs...

Well, the files seem OK and should play OK. And your Cineplayer test playback proves that.
So, try to find out Dolby's software version number.
Is it possible to check on another server, Dolby and not Dolby?

Re: Dolby server doesn't open DCP VF
Hmm, the DSS 200 Server software version should be something like 4.x Like 4.6x, 4.7x, 4.8.x
2.6.35.13 is the Linux kernel version, but the Dolby software running on that server should have it's own version number.

Re: Dolby server doesn't open DCP VF
Hello, not sure if i should reply here but i have a similar problem with Dolby.
I had created a split reel VF which was to fix some part of OV's video.
The VF file size's up to 5.3GB. It worked fine on Doremi but didn't work on Dolby.
It plays on several cinemas, I just hear the problem from their staff so I don't have much information now.
