Hey all,
We have 2 identical 4-core, 8-thread linux machines running DCP-o-matic on one, and the encoding server cli on the other. We recently started using the batch converter, which has really sped up our process, however, today we noticed that when we add a film to the batch converter it renders at half the speed as it would in the main program.
Looking further into it, we noticed that the encoding server shows up under Tools > Ecoding Servers in the main DCP-o-matic program, but not in the batch converter. Is there a different cli command we have to give the encoding server to get it to play nice with the batch converter?
I searched the manual and the forum, but could not find any info to this end.
Thanks for you help!

Re: Encode Server Not Showing up in Batch Converter
I had similar problem. Just quit DOM, start batch converter (so it can find server) and then open DOM again, and continue working. The key is to have only server running when searching for server, that helped me...

Cool, I'm going to give that a try. Thanks.
Update: That worked great.

Thanks @cloud06. This is already on the bug list.
