Jpeg 2000 long time importing
Hi there! I am using last version of DOM. I wondering, why so long importing jpeg2000 files. I add folder with 140000 files and import took 8-9 hours. Thank you for help.

Re: Jpeg 2000 long time importing
I never did this myself with so many images, so I don't know wether it is 'normal' - but are you sure you chose 'Add folder', instead of 'Add files'? While you can add image series both ways, the outcome is very different...
Are these images on a local drive, or on a USB/mobile drive?

All files were on a local disk. I suspect a few things.
1 There may be a problem with the file system. I had an exfat. I'll try and rewrite the files to NTFS.
2 It was an assignment to make a sound 5.1. On each channel I uploaded one file of Vav. After receiving one 5.1-wavfile, the situation has improved. The import time was halved.

Found the reason. It was Exfat. I changed the table to NTFS and the import speed of the sequence became more acceptable. About 10-15 minutes.
