System Info:
Macbook Pro M3 Max
Golden Gate 27.0
DCP-o-Matic: 2.18.50
DiskWriter 2: latest from the download pages.
Trying to create a disk that can be used with a Doremi DCP2000. But am unable to write even a small DCP. The disk is recognized, I get to the "yes" erase drive phase, but after that it keeps giving Failed to write MBR. When clicking on the "Details..." button, DiskWriter quits immediately. No error messages etc.
My understanding was that DiskWriter formats a disk clean everytime prior to writing the DCPs. Does it expect the drive to be formatted a specific way to begin with?
Will greatly appreciate a response, thanks in advance!

Re: DiskWriter: Unable to Write DCPs to drive
Hi, I really need to improve this error message!
It's a permissions problem; there is some advice here: https://dcpomatic.com/faq/27
