I doubt it is of enough relevance to create another DCP-o-matic tool from it (unless other functions could be added as well).

Maybe not another, but the combiner is really close, (re-)creating assetmaps and packinglists.

I could image a range of 'fixer' tools combined in one app. Like a swiss army knife. Choose a blade, and then the module will lead you through some options and file selectors and finally do what you want.
