Encoding corrupt DCPs
I'm having problems with a PC that has started encoding corrupt DCPs. The output DCPs fail to ingest and fail a hash check on the picture track (from the drive they were encoded to). My first thought was the HDD. But I've tried encoding to an external drive with the same result. DCP-o-Matic uninstalled and reinstalled. There are no obvious warnings/errors in the DCP-o-Matic log file. The PC has been used for a few years with DCP-o-matic with no problems. Windows 11 Pro, AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24-Core Processor, Source files on an SDD with Projects and encoding to a HDD. Any tips for finding out the source of this problem?

Hi Chris, my first instinct would be to use something like https://www.memtest.org/ to check your memory.

Thanks Carl. Looks like it was the memory. Failed Memtest. Replaced the RAM (and Passed in Memtest) So fingers crossed all good again.
