Hi guys,
I made a DCP with wondereful DCP-o-matic for Deliviery to the cinemas. The hoster checked it with easyDCP Player+ 4.2.6.
This brings me this Error Codes.
A: Sound Track Files shall signal Wild Track Format (SMPTE 429-2 Channel Configuration 4)
B: Invalid audio properties. 6 channels (Expected 16). 24 bits per sample (Expected 24). Sample rate of 48000 (Expected: 48000).
And this warning:
C: Bitrates of JPEG 2000 components are checked if they exceed the recommended bitrate. Checking recommended component bitrate 10017
My source is a DCP from Resolve with 200mbit Video file and a 5.1 Audio 24/48k.
What can I do, that the sound errors are gone?
And why is it bringing that warning for the Jpeg 2000 Bitrate?
Thank you so much for any help.

Re: Sound Track Errors and Warnings
Hi guy right back atcha.
Your info is a bit confusing. You probably mean that you made a DCP with DaVinci Resolve Studio and re-packaged and -maybe- encrypted with wonderful DCP-o-matic.
Your DCP is probably perfectly playable on cinemas. The so called "errors" and warning are merely warnings about compliance to what only easyDCP considers errors.
You haven't written if the DCP is 2K or 4K. If 2K, the video bitrate is inconveniently high, but no cinema system will sweat it to screen. If I were you, I wouldn't think about it twice for an already delivered project.
What you can do, that would have no impact to how the DCP will screen, if you want to oblige someone who doesn't really care about practicalities:
You can update your DCP-o-matic version, re-package, but change the audio channels specifically to 16.

Hey IoannisSyrogiannis
Thank you very much for your help. Your'e right, the error disappears by changing audio channels to 16.
You solved my life.
thank you so much!
