I am trying to create a DCP for a 1.5 hour movie. I have a mov video file that has its own sound, but I have disabled it in the content > audio section. I have an aif audio file as well with the audio enabled. Both files have the same length. When I am pressing play in the software audio and video are synched perfectly. Once I loaded the finished DCP into the DCP Player it was 3 hours long with the audio playing first with no image and directly afterwards the image with no sound. Same thing when I loaded the DCP into dcp-o-matic. I checked, in the timing section, both files' start times are set to 00:00:00.
I am using version 2.18.27 on a Macbook (Intel). Both the files and the destination folder are on an external harddrive.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be or what a solution / work-around could look like? Thank you in advance for your support!!

Can you attach the metadata.xml file from inside the project folder here, or email it to carl@dcpomatic.com ?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Audio and video completely out of synch
Thanks, we can see there that the AIF file comes first, then the MOV follows it, so you do need to double-check those values in the timing tab.
Click on the MOV in the list, then check that its position is 0, and do the same for the AIF. Then it should work.
You can also check by clicking "Timeline"
