Blu ray file Has Mixed Content

I run a screening room and a client has booked us for a social gathering to show a movie off Blu-ray which they have licensed via Swank. Just for my own amusement I've decided to make a DCP. I've done this many times for private use.

I ripped the disk via MakeMKV. I checked the results playing on VLC. Biggest file is the complete movie.

But when I "add file" to DCP-O-MATIC and look at it the video shown is one of the "making of" videos. Rechecking the file on VLC I see the movie is video track 1 and the making of is track 2. But DCP-O-MATIC is picking up Track 2. Is there a way to select the other track or must this be done at the ripping stage?

Unfortunately there's no way to select between video streams in DCP-o-matic at the moment (though it is on the list of things to add).

With MKVToolNix you can alter MKV files, so you can remove the unwanted video track.

I think I got it licked. Not a DCP-O-MATIC issue. I the interest of anyone else coming here for help I was able to deal with file in MakeMKV where a checklist appears and I unticked all items except the basic video and main sound and rip just that. Checking in VLC showed just one video track. Looked proper in DCP-O-MATIC. It's running now.

It's usually best in MakeMKV to restrict yourself to extract what you really need for conversion.
Also because DCP-o-matic will analyse all content after importing, and that will take A LOT longer if unnecessary video, audio and subtitle tracks are present. There are of course tools available to strip MKV from unnecessary tracks.
