Hi, we're trying to run DCP-o-matic 2.18.25 64-bit on a Windows 10 computer.
As test files we use unencrypted DCPs from professional distributors.
DCP-o-matic crashes regularly about 15 minutes into the films.
The Windows log lists two dll files as causing the crashes: KERNELBASE.dll and ntdll.dll
What’s wrong? Aren’t these 32 bit system files?
Any help is very much appreciated.

What are you doing with the DCPs? Playing them back?

Yes, just playback.
Sorry. Obvious for us but of course not for others.
We’re just interested in the Player app.

And on the crash does the player just close without any message?

If there would have been an information window that closes very quickly, we might have missed it because our eyes were on the beamer screen rather than on the computer’s monitor, but yes: the application just seems to close without a note why it did so.

Re: Crashes on Windows 10
Perhaps you could go into the player preferences, and set up a log file, run the player until it crashes and then send me the log?
