Installation Problems: DCP-o-Matic on Ubuntu 22.04

I'm lost right out of the gate on this one.

I've never done this before, but I have to convert an mp4 to a DCP for a film festival.

Running Ubuntu 22.04, I've downloaded the .deb and installed it. The "cli only" file says it has unmet dependencies and I'm not sure how to fix that. The full file installs, but it doesn't give me any tools for converting to DCP--just tools for working with and playing back existing DCP projects.

What am I missing? How do I get to the tool for conversion?

Sometimes weird stuff seems to happen with the desktop shortcuts, and the important one gets lost ... you could try

from a terminal window. I'll check out the CLI unmet dependencies problem. How did you install it? With apt on the console, or some other way?

Yup. Just figured that out. It looks like everything installed correctly, but Ubuntu was only showing me the first five results when I tried to find the application. I did a deep-dive through the menus and finally found the main program. Thanks.

We are facing an issue with the ubuntu 22.04 installer.

We have an ubuntu 22.04 system and we downloaded the ubuntu 22.04 version of your software. dcpomatic_2.16.79-1_amd64.deb

We are facing and unmet dependencies problem. I send you the output below.

I tried to find equivalent versions of the libraries to try to installed it but those were from ubuntu 23.04.

Could you please help us or update the installer?
