Hi everyone.
Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I'm making a DCP from a film spoken in multiple languages.
I need to deliver a DCP with English and Portuguese subtitles.
My question is:
Can my OV already have English subtitles and I just generate a VF with Portuguese?
Will the VF version substitute the English subs?
Or should I create an OV without subtitles and 2 VF versions, 1 for each language.

What is the spoken language in that movie?
Is both englisch and Portuguese spoken in it, so, would you need subtitles that translate english AND Portuguese at the same time?
You can create two different language subtitles in one feature/CPL if needed. There are different ways to do that.
Wether you want an OV without ANY subtitles as a master version is up to you.
