I'm submitting a DCP to a film festival and they are asking if my audio format is "Dolby", "Dolby Digital", "Magnetic" or "Optic".
My sound format is PCM. Which of the four options best describes it?
Which format best describes the PCM audio?

Re: Which format best describes the PCM audio?
None. They probably use an older form from pre-digital film days. All the mentioned formats are 35mm Film formats.
If you deliver a DCP, the audio format PCM and 24Bits/48KHz is mandatory. Only the number of channels - Mono, Stereo, 3/3.1, 5.1, 7.1 may vary depending on your mix.
If you're able to, you may choose 2, stereo, or 5.1 to indicate what is in your DCP.
