IMAX audio mapping issue

Hi, I am working in a project that uses the IMAX 12 channel
audio system. The issue I am having is that when I create the DCP the channels are remapped in the following way:

1 goes to 1
2 to 2
3 to 3
4 to 4
5 to 5
6 to 6
7 to 7
8 to 8
9 to 11
10 to 12
11 to 13
12 to 14

For some reason it jumps outputs 9 and 10 but IMAX needs those two outputs. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is it addressable in the software as I cannot find a way to do this?

Interesting; it's that way because normal DCPs never use 9 and 10. Have you tested whether the other channels work OK with a self-made DCP (not one made by IMAX)?

Yes, so the first six happened as expected - L R C HiC Lrear Rrear then Hi and Vi not used. But then the Ls and Rs signals came out of overhead Lf and Rr then next two were overhead Lr and Rr. So everything was shifted past those two outputs.

Is there anyway to activate them?

Not immediately as far as I can remember but it shouldn't be too hard to fix that.

That would be amazing to have a solution. I looked at the metadata file and it clearly shows the jump in the audio matrices.. makes it feel like something could be adjusted.

Whoops, I missed an option... "Allow mapping to all audio channels" in either the "Non-standard" or "Advanced" tab of preferences (and probably a restart) should allow you to map to these channels.
