Hi,
An issue I've noticed:
Source file- DCP or video file
sub file -srt or xml
Creating DCP, with open subtitles tab ticked, evrything OK.
Creating DCP, with burn subtitles tab ticked:
some subtitles have different start time. The end time of these subs is correct.
I mean these subs appear later and as the end time is correct they have smaller duration.
It happens randomly and with random values, the delay can be 4, 5, 10, 11 ...frames.
It's not happening when exporting to MP4 or QT.
I can remember since which DOM version I've noticed the problem and it happens on windows 10 & 11
Thanks
Burned subs

Re: Burned subs
Are you using a separate encoding server? When you say it's random, does the error change if you re-make the same project? Or are the same subtitles wrong if you re-run?

Re: Burned subs
I don't use a separate encoding server.
Same subs wrong, if re-run.
I'm not sure (i 'ii do some test) but regardless the project( any sub any video file)
subtitles :number 3 and 4, have the problem.

Re: Burned subs
If you could send me an example sub file that would be great! carl@dcpomatic.com

Re: Burned subs
It's a bit far fetched, according to the description, but I would check any fade-in and fade-out settings.
