Summary0003140: Adobe Premiere plug-in
Description

To avoid the two-step process of generating a ProRes 4444 playout, and then a DCP from that, I'd like to be able to do it in one step, also avoiding generation loss. I'm a developer who has written plug-ins for Pr and Ae (and Ps) before. I might actually be able to do this myself. Is it possible, using libdcp?

It should be... off the top of my head the main thing libdcp doesn't try to help with is any multithreading of the JPEG2000 encoding. Otherwise it should be possible. Also you'd need to be using C++ or something that can call a C++ library.

There's (incomplete) doxygen comments that you can turn to HTML by running doxygen in the root of the source tree (the pages end up in build/doc/html). And some examples in examples. I'm happy to add docs for anything that isn't clear. You'd be the first (or maybe second!) other user that I know about...
