Wondering wether we should differentiate better between errors and warnings - most SMPTE B v2.1 issues are probably more in the hints or warning category. E.g. missing credit markers will never cause any practical issues.

Yeah I'm not sure whether the Bv2.1 subdivision is useful. I think my original idea was that some people might just want to ignore the whole Bv2.1 thing, so just not look at that tab.

In think the subdivision makes sense, but we probably should not call these issues 'errors'. I understand it depends on circumstances wether some issue that is formally just a warning or hint could become a showstopper when e.g. a service company further down rejects the DCP e.g. for duplicating. These issues are not easy to communicate within the Software alone.
