| Summary | 0002030: Aspect ratio modifier should reflect cropped content aspect ratio, not source file aspect ratio | ||||
| Description | When I load e.g. a letterboxed scope content in 16:9 and crop away the black bars, the DCNC name generated still contains S-178. Ooops, I see, the functionality to compute from the cropped AR is there, the modifier is just not updated immediately with the cropping. If I check 'Use ISDCF name' off/on, the modifier is updated properly. But it seems it is limited to only a specific set of aspect ratios. I think it should compute ALL numerical values from the display aspect ratio. I think it is totally okay to have an F-195 or F-210. We had a couple of 2.0:1 and 2.2:1 mainstream releases in recent years.
