Yes and no... Yes, since there is no more blank subtitles on 00.01 frames when playing a 2.11.11 DCP on a "stable" version such as 2.10.5. No, because these void frames are still among the burnt subtitles of the exported mp4. --jp

Hi Carl,carl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2017 9:51 pmThat's just a DCP-o-matic bug. I think I've fixed it ready for 2.11.11.test version 2.11.10 (on MacOS Sierra) correctly exports subtitleless DCPs to mp4
but it aborts and displays "Programming error at ../src/lib/image.cc:235"
when Interop or SMPTE subtitles are present ; is this confirmed by other Mac users?
Could my 'SRT Edit Pro' subtitle generator be the culpritt...
While encoding a DCP from a tiff sequence with 5.1 audio and SMPTE subtitles, I have this error:
Erreur de programme à ../src/lib/ffmpeg_decoder.cc:329
DCP o matic version 2,9,0
OS X 10.8.2
Is it a bug too, or should I change some properties ?
Thank you,
Nassimus

Hi Nassimus,
I would suggest upgrading your DCP-o-matic to 2.12.15 and trying again, unless you have a severe need to stay with 2.9.0.
Kind regards,
Carl
