The grok binaries don't match the architecture of the card.
The card being tested is a Turing card, and I believe Kristoph downloaded
the binaries for 6000 ADA.

Re: Grok for DcpOMatic CLI
@carl @boxerab,
Yes you're right. I was using an RTX 6000 (not RTX 6000 ADA) which means it was using a Turing card (I guess this would be equivalent to the 2080 architecture option provided by Grok?). I switched to an RTX 4000 ADA machine which has the 4090 card and it worked fine! Carl I think the sample build you provided works great. Let me know when I can download an "official build" when you have the chance.
As a benchmark, the RTX 4000 ADA machine that I used to successfully test (with 1x GPU) got about 9.5-10fps average speed on a 4K Prores 4444 master file, which was about 1.7x faster than what I got on a 32 core CPU only machine. While this is amazing, do you think in the future we'd be able to do multiple GPU processing (e.g. 2x or 4x GPU on the same machine)? And btw is my fps value above about what you'd expect? Lower/higher?
Thank you both again for your support! I'm really glad to see this feature and this collaboration between Grok and DoM!

Re: Grok for DcpOMatic CLI
Hi Kristoph,
That is great news! Your frame rate seems on the low side to me, but it depends a lot on the content as well as the hardware.
Also, how about the rest of the system - cpu, ram ? cpu can be a limiting feature.
We have a number of performance improvements planned for the next release, including multi-gpu, which will give a significant boost to frame rate.
Will keep you posted.
Best,
Aaron

Re: Grok for DcpOMatic CLI
Thanks for trying it out. 2.18.13 has the changes in your test build.
