Serious audio problem when playing back a DCP.

Anything and everything to do with DCP-o-matic.

Thanks, Carl!

I have downloaded this version of the software set, tested it and the player works as it should.

Hi, working on a DCP for a screening. When importing my video the audio is still pitched down like stated above. I am on Version 2.16.59 (on Mac). How do I download an older version?

Thanks

I'd be surprised if your problem has the same cause. You can try an older version here. Is your pitched-down audio in the main DCP-o-matic, before you made the DCP? The bug in this thread only occurs when playing back the finished DCP in the player.

I ran into this same problem using version 2.18.11 on mac.
I have checked the audio from the original file. I'm not sure what happened during the encoding process to cause this.
Any fixes?

You are seeing a pitch shift on your audio? What frame rate is your source, and your DCP?

While we wait for a reply from Boston, I would like to confirm that I created a 24fps 4K DCP with this software version using a 4444 Prores file at 24 fps two days ago and it came out perfectly, with no change in sound pitch. It took 5 hours to convert a 650 GB Prores file (no comment) into a 43 GB DCP (at a 75 Mbps bitrate) on a Mac Studio 2023, but the result is very good.
